I am not a pro-PVPer by any means. I have not played Halo or anything PVP since COD had split screens. Never been to a LAN party. BUT: I want to get better at killing guardians! I want to get my Trials Gear! I want to visit the Lighthouse!
If you are like me (and the many others that seem to feel this way), please start posting for Trials practice runs. I think, rather than asking the top PVPers for help, we should group up and just practice and learn. Besides, if your "sherpa" doesn't make it and the summary screen betrays your dismal performance, it can be discouraging. REMEMBER: This is a game. We should have fun! Personally I'd like to run with all those who haven't been to the Lighthouse but would like to some day.
My suggestion: Run in teams whose main goal is to just get 2-3 wins. Then in a couple weeks try for 4-5, and so forth. All those we admire (or despise) for being gods in the crucible, didn't get there overnight. Let's earn our right of passage! WHO IS WITH ME?!?
Pro-tip: To more easily identify those who would like to practice, consider changing your status on your B.net profile to:
"Looking for ToO practice group" or similar
PLEASE bump this post if you agree. AND comment with LFG or the results of your team's evening of practicing. Maybe some new tricks you found? Advice for particular maps? Preferred weapons and perks, etc

Thanks Sushi, absolutely down for this. Being primarily a PvP guy, expecting to do mildly well but finding mostly defeat, it's been frustrating. But if you go in with a chill mindset, like you said just shooting for a couple wins, but not even expecting that, it can be a seriously good time (yes, even a 4 loss out run) if you're with a likeminded group of guys. Let's do this. Anyone who hasn't feel free to add me, b.net=PSN name.
