Bump
Another great post. Like yourself I'm still trying to soak in the latest patch. On one hand I'm happy about the AR fix,on the other hand I'm not so enthusiastic about the rest. Some of the nerfs to IceBreaker,Black Hammer,Hawkmoon and others just seem arbitrary or more to the point,very Bungie.
Not really sure if Destiny is really worth continuing. I have put in the hours,spent the cash,held onto hope upon hope patch after patch,DLC after DLC for everything to come together. Only to be met with frustration. No matchmaking and now a seemingly concerted effort to make obsolete year one weapons to pave the way for TTK's new batch of shiny toys.
I'm tired. Games should be fun and this one just isn't anymore.

I like your description, yeah the patch does just feel like a Bungie stand up routine.

As a majority solo player I agree with the lack of matchmaking. The game can cobble together peeps for other things but not raids and extended storyline play? Bungie what do you have against us solo players? Are you still mad? Is the lone wolf thing in Reach still haunting us? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8RXAk4HZ3M You know Bungie how many times I defended warsats, killed targets, and hunted down stray wolves with my Destiny brothers and sisters. Bungie you know how many times I have stopped and helped a lvl 5, 6, 7 in the middle of a fire fight. You know, Bungie, I don't kill everything because they need exp points. I just make sure they don't die. And strikes Bungie.. Look at all those strikes I've completed with them too! So many strikes I've been fire support they've needed. One can't kill Omnigul if some one isn't killing the Thrall and Knights she spawns. It's a great match. My brothers and sisters kill Omnigul and I kill everything else trying to kill them. You know all of this but won't pair me with my bothers or sisters to finish the last levels of Prison of Elders. Brother Vance wonders why I don't visit him. I simply state there are more things than just a "menage a trois" Brother Vance. And I am guessing in weekly Nightfall you have your sleep mask on thus matching us up is more a kin to "pin the tail" on the Speaker which is best left undone. None of us guardians wish you, Bungie, groping through speakers white robe for that... So I sit outside the VOG with my drunk imp ghost going on about dragons, seven vague areas and some white wall I am sure your putting into the TTK update just waiting for you do what you promised. The promise was you'd help us play your game.
