Wouldn't the increase in reserve ammo still balance it out?
If it pulls from the reserve and you have a lot of reserve (especially with armors that hold more sniper ammo) wouldn't it be the same?

And it is only one extra mag, but now triple tap will be a better perk because of the free round

The purpose of the gun is to be able to land crits consecutively, and being rewarded with ammo from outta nowhere. To have the gun be reloaded with ammo from reserves just takes away the uniqueness of the perk. Basically, its an instant reloader. Reloading isnt a problem. Taking ammo from reserves is.

But Icebreaker regens ammo, it doesn't reward you with precision.
