The purpose of the gun is to be able to land crits consecutively, and being rewarded with ammo from outta nowhere. To have the gun be reloaded with ammo from reserves just takes away the uniqueness of the perk.
Basically, its an instant reloader. Reloading isnt a problem. Taking ammo from reserves is.
