It was needed man. They are nerfing the range of shotguns to the ground which i agree with. With that said, it would return to the old days of only fusions. This nerf was needed because if they nerfed the range of shotties to the ground, fusions would be the new thing to bitch about. I think their goal is to lower the overall TTK ( time to kill ) in pvp and pve both. I like their progress moving forward.
