When you think about it, its not that bad. BH will have 21-26 rounds. If you can't take down a boss with that many bullets then the gun ain't the problem.

a lot of bosses are bullet sponges, 21-26 rounds might get some of the harder bosses to only half if not only a quarter down. (depending on the boss)

Not really. Nightfall bosses are over in seconds. Raid bosses, well you have 5 others dealing damage...hopefully. Skolas may be the only bullet sponge, but if you've ever fought him then you'd know you pick up ammo throughout the fight.
