Enters the Sewers and proceed to a nearby Cyber-Mercs. The mechanic takes one look at me and can tell I'm no Cyborg Mech: So what's a none Cyborg doing here? I'm looking for info on any recent customers you've had. Mech: Sorry, We got to be discreet round here. I understand, I'd be willing supplement your salary if we were just to talk. Mech: Well when you put it like that... He gives me a list of all his recent upgrades and sells. There about 5 people on the list. One of these guys has to be the Synth. I transfer the Creds to his account, and toss him a diamond. To ensure your discreet with anyone else that comes asking about this list. I nod at him and head out.
-
After a few hours, I've managed to clear all but two of the possibilities off the list. One of them leads to little known Back Alley Warehouse. The other leads back to a local gang of Hackers and Cyborgs. I choose to go to the Warehouse first.
-
You enter the Warehouse. Metal boxes and cases scatter the place, though there doesn't seem to be any life. You'll have to continue searching.
-
Could still be something here. I'll check before I move on towards the Gang. I start to scavenge through the metal crates and boxes. Or at least something valuable.
-
Strangely enough, all of the boxes are empty. Nothing is in the cases either. A raid?
-
I'm going to kill that mechanic. I check for signs of forced entry, bullet casings, or footprints. Hmm... After looking, I start to check for hidden panels, or trap doors. Maybe under...

Stephenson hopes his data-blocking gear will keep him from being spotted by another Cyber's scans as he sneaks through the sewers.
-
He walks down the sewer with his hands in his pockets and his feet splashing the water beneath him as he walks. With nary and idea on how to spot an Synth he first goes looking for locals in the sewers, hoping he could get information on both the synth and the environment itself. He spots a small shanty as he reaches the end of the tunnel he's been walking. "Woah" he says, as he didn't expect such architecture in a sewer of all places. This city just gets more interesting he thinks as he begins making his way to the shanty.
-
A man sits on a wooden chair on a the sheet metal porch of one of the shanties. He looks at you warily.
-
He completely disregards the man pointing a weapon at him and approaches the sitting man. As he does he reaches into his coat and pulls out a bag of Pork Rinds and offers a smile, an offer. "A minute?"
-
Edited by HickoryHamMike: 7/18/2015 4:16:47 PMThe man looks at the pork rinds, and then at you. He nods his head.
-
He sits on the floor next to the chair and hands the man the bag of Pork Rinds. "Take all of it, I don't really enjoy that stuff. My intentions here I guess you could say involve making life much easier for everyone residing in these sewers, which are quite impressive I must say" He says as he admires the architecture again. "So tell me, how would I go about finding a murderous Synth, a wolf in sheep's clothing?"
-
The man eats vigorously at the pork rinds. "Well," he says in between bites, "I've heard they don't have blood, but this weird acidic white stuff. I think they also have something weird about their eyes...?"
-
"Interesting, care to describe the stuff around their eyes a wee bit more? Like dark circles or something?" He asks
-
"I can't really remember... Sorry..."
-
He nods, satisfied. "Enjoy those rinds" he says as he walks into a more crowded area and begins to observe the crowd. His psion mind lets him go into a state of deep concentration as he observes everyone out in the open. He takes into account wounds as he observes open skin to see id any scars or injuries are present, anyone with a noticeable injury is most likely not a Synth due to acidic white blood. Simultaneously he takes into account the eyes as he scans the crowd for anyone with concealed or unusual eyes. He takes into account things such as eyewear and long hair concealing the eyes, as it is possible anyone trying to hide their eyes might just be a synth. He also looks for any types of eye abnormality.
-
You only see normal eyes, brown and green, normal skin, ordinary wounds. No one bothers to wear sunglasses here because there is not much light. This place seems to be clear.
-
"Urgh" he groans. He must be hiding then, perhaps not a wold in sheep's clothing. He re approaches the eating grinds and asks " So, tell me about places here were few ventures. Where would I go if I wanted to find a place where tongues don't wag? ... that means a very isolated place" This time he pulls out the cigar and lighter, an offer.
-
"Maybe... An abandoned subway terminal...? I don't know." he finishes the pork rinds.
-
"Thanks, I guess" He tosses the cigar at the man but keeps the lighter as he rushes to catch up with the other two.
-
Stephenson hears the footsteps, draws his DeWitt, and points it at the new arrival.
-
A sounds, and a bit of tension in the air clues him to the stranger. He arcs and eyebrow as he spots a weapon pointed at him. "Is this how the locals greet tourists in these parts? This place gets more charming by the second" He says with a friendly smile.
