Any game that is a first person shooter in which you are using a gun to kill something should be labeled as Mature +17. Destiny should have been labeled as Mature +17 instead of Teen. Sure kids would still play the game, but that would be on the parents of the kid, not Bungie themselves. However, the online interactions are not rated by the ESRB so basically everything you do in Destiny is unrated as it all requires internet connection to play.

Bungie don't rate the game you moron an official company that rate all games do they play and review it before giving it an official age rating

What you need to realise is that the world is changing and soon enough games like gta will be 12s because they will make worse games and the worse they get the ones that aren't as bad get a lower rating so the not so bad ones don't look as bad as the not so bad ones hence destiny is a 16
