Any game that is a first person shooter in which you are using a gun to kill something should be labeled as Mature +17. Destiny should have been labeled as Mature +17 instead of Teen. Sure kids would still play the game, but that would be on the parents of the kid, not Bungie themselves. However, the online interactions are not rated by the ESRB so basically everything you do in Destiny is unrated as it all requires internet connection to play.
