Stephenson glares slightly at the stranger. Time for a Voight-Kampff.

"More like a Synth" he replies, and shifts his gaze at the crouched man with suspicion.

"No, I have not seen any of those things around here." the hatted man says. The crouching man remains silent.

Stephenson runs another scan, then calls to the two men. "Hey, do any of you two have a family? Just a question." ((Synths go nuts when asked personal questions, a la Blade Runner. That's how you find them.))

((Well things work differently here)) The man at the entrance of the maintenance tunnel still sits crouched, unmoving. Though the man on the beach speaks up. "Why do you ask?" he says blandly.

Stephenson aims his weapon. "Synths don't have families. We're looking for one."

The man turns his head slightly. "There are no Synths here. Neither is the reason to shoot me."

Stephenson tightens his trigger finger. "That sounds like something someone who [i]was[/i] a Synth would say. Now freeze!"

"Don't you see I'm already sitting? Only my mouth is moving." the man exclaims. "But now you're just assuming things. And a man hunting for another man... Or something like a man... shouldn't do that."

"No, they shouldn't. but according to reports this synth in particular has been killing, not exactly and easily justifiable action. An action that must be prevented if you ask me" He says as he continues making his way to the crouched man.

"You know, it's not exactly etiquette to point a gun at total strangers"

Stephenson glares at the other Cyber. "Look, the synth could either of these two."

[b]I check my TACPAD but the jamming signal worsens the closer I get to him[/b]

He waits, staring at the two men waiting for a reaction. His bayonet still in hand and his other resting on his waist.

Stephenson is confused briefly, but he runs another scan, which suddenly fuzzes out. "We're being jammed by this thing. DANGIT!"

He draws his bayonett from his coat and takes 10 KAP pills, he let's the rush of the pills fill his head for a seconds before readying himself.

Stephenson nods, then flips a pair of sunglasses on over his eyes, scanning the crowd. "Found him. Old-school mil-grade, with heavy inbuilt weapons. Looks like a collapsed MG in the right arm. I'll broadcast a Voight frequency. Only synths can hear it, and it causes blinding pain to them. Once it drops, we all shoot it, and then we go home.
