If you're one of those, "I'm requiring Gjallerhorn now," guys, just stop.
Lemme make this real simple: Bungie nerfs the Gjallerhorn because Raid groups were too stubborn about who can and can't join their games, basically who has Gjallerhorn and who doesn't.
The scummy part of this community goes, "Durr hurr, I'm gonna require Gjallerhorn even more now to teach Bungie a lesson!"
Bungie says, "It looks like Gjallerhorn is [i]still[/i] the go-to weapon for Raid groups, so we're gonna nerf it some more."

This whole issue could've been avoided if they implemented optional matchmaking for all activities. I've never once required ghorn for anything but all this nerf does is punish people who were lucky enough to get one. A lot of the people who bitched about it didn't have it nor did they take advantage of every possibility to get it. Bunch of bs.

2 RepliesThere was only two times I seen the requirement for Gally come up. This was the two times I did Skolas on a fire burn. It was never needed for anything else, and people who demand it sound like terrible players, who I don't really care to play with anyways. The idea of acting like douchebags towards your fellow players out of spite for something Bungie did, is just ass backwards. Just a big pile of entitled, durp de durp doo doo, served up on a big plate of moronic cry baby. Just retarded nonsensical bleeting from people who need to get lives and get over it. 1 ReplyI got my first ghallerhorn a week before HoW dropped and was excluded once before that because I didn't have one. So I really don't know what peoples problem is with finding PVE groups....

3 RepliesThe only thing they changed about the ghally is the wolf pack rounds, the initial rocket will still do the same amount of damage, along with tracking it's still going to be a sweet rocket launcher. I don't see what the big deal is if it gets nerfed, the best players can adapt.

when people bitch, whine, groan , complain that is when things get fuked with and ruined a lot of these just made the weapons more useless in PVE than they were before. its really bad with a PVE primary game to completely cater to its PVP side with out Leaving the PVE alone. the Gjallerhorn nerf not really a big one as it will still to a lot more damage than any other. The BlackHammer if I land 3 crits with that I should get free ammo in a insta refill. people just need to stop bitchin in general most of the dedicated fan base is probably going to move on after TTK comes out and Bungie is gonna have to brib them back, eventhough that wont work cause the current bunjie regime has no clue what its players are looking for.

I love the reasoning behind gjallarhorn. Also, they're probably just trying to kill the best weapons we have so we HAVE to farm and grind for the new ones. Bungee isn't innovative anymore, they're sneaky. The worst part is tha people buy the "we care and don't want other guardians left out" oh well then implement optional matchmaking. Either they're lying and are trying to kill our current weapons so we devote even more time to getting the new ones or they're telling the truth and this company becomes a joke because nerfing god tier weapons because others don't have them is the stupidest thing I've ever seen from any game. Every mmo and MMO type game has a white whale gun.
