If you're one of those, "I'm requiring Gjallerhorn now," guys, just stop.
Lemme make this real simple: Bungie nerfs the Gjallerhorn because Raid groups were too stubborn about who can and can't join their games, basically who has Gjallerhorn and who doesn't.
The scummy part of this community goes, "Durr hurr, I'm gonna require Gjallerhorn even more now to teach Bungie a lesson!"
Bungie says, "It looks like Gjallerhorn is [i]still[/i] the go-to weapon for Raid groups, so we're gonna nerf it some more."
[b][i]REPEAT THIS CYCLE UNTIL YOU IDIOTS LEARN THAT BEING A JERK TO PEOPLE OVER A WEAPON IN A VIDEOGAME IS PATHETIC AND WRONG.[/i][/b]
But by all means, if you're so afraid to do endgame content without Gjallerhorn, be my guest, and get your precious rocket launcher nerfed into the ground.

That was the shittest excuse I've ever heard. I have never been kicked in my early days for not having a ghorn (VOG,Crota easy and some hard) and I have never kicked someone for not having one. And I have yet to see some one get kicked from a fire time that I was in. Judging all ghorn users for the very little percentage of douche ghorn users is making all of us look bad. It wouldn't have bothered me so much if they actually gave a legitimate reason. And because of that I could care less if people decide to make gally only fire teams because I have one.

Crota- There [b]NO NEED[/b] for 4-5 ghorns for Crota. You can solo him with one! More than that is wasted damage since he's immune after his shields are down. Hunger of Crota is the best option for fireteams. It's more than sufficient. If you're going to require an exotic weapon, people should require [b]Red Death![/b] That way everyone on your fireteam can regenerate health for the boss. Skolas- When will people learn that this battle is not about DPS? He is not the typical bullet sponge. It's about timing, communication, and movement. You have to take out ads and time when to bring his health down to prepare for the mines. Any heavy weapon is fine. Honesty I like Thunderlord or MIDA the best for Skolas. MIDA gets you out of some very sticky situations, and Thunderlord can also be very useful on the ads as well as Skolas.

4 RepliesI don't think it's going to be like this. People (like me) are just frustrated that a large group of crying babies got their way. Making teams requiring everyone to have ghally is a pain in the ass because you'd spend ages getting them all together, in the end those players will grow tired and continue as they were.

Before I got my gally 3 months ago, I never had trouble finding a raid team. I was late to the party for TDB, so I really only have vog experience
