If Bungie wanted to do something about people not getting into raids, they should have added matchmaking, problem solved
That wasn't the reason, they nerfed it because Boss encounters where not lasting long enough, same reason Hammer got nerfed

Ive seen destiny endgame activities take longer than bloodborn final boss on new plus 7. This is just creating more elitism i love this game but be it bungie or the players its getting less and less fun to play.
