Although I respect all beliefs there are some factual errors in your post.
First of all, you are correct in saying that evolution is a theory but it is not a scientific fact. A theory is a hypothesis that has been tested but it is still not accepted until sufficient research has been done to call it a scientific law. Gravity for instance is a law but evolution is not.
Second the example of fruit flys you gave is an example of microevolution which actually has been proven to be a fact.( ie birds that have different beaks or different dog breeds) on the other hand, macroevolution( turning 1 species into another) has not been proven.
Like I said opinions to each their own.

An avalanche is harmless because it's just snowflakes.

No. A scientific theory is completely proven, and Gravity is also a theory, not a law
-
Evolution is *this* close to being a law though

That's not how it works

Theory is the highest honor a former hypothesis can achieve. Gravity for instance is a law but evolution is not. There is also a Theory of Gravity. Yep thats basically my TL DR version

No, he's saying that a law isn't higher on a scale than a theory, they are two separate and distinct things
