Being able to jump away from a weapon that would otherwise kill you if you didn't isn't making the weapon useless. Not seeing your jump to this particular extreme. The idea is to make it harder for people to manipulate blink's offensive capability. Has little to do with the effectiveness of the shotgun itself. People blink shotgun because it's difficult to counter it. If I can jump to avoid getting blink shotgunned, I'd rather be able to do so as consistently as possible. This isn't trying to make anything useless. Just trying to counter.
