NO THEY DIDN'T nerf the gally because of raid groups asking for it. Stop being so naive. They have done numerous tinkering with numerous weapons but left the gally because they wanted people to keep playing to obtain it. They have had more than enough time to nerf that weapon (should have been done when Crota raid was out and having a gally was a necessity) but didn't. They are nerfing it because they don't want any old weapons competing with the new ones (new carrots on sticks) and by passing the blame on to the player base for requiring this weapon for end game content it then shifts the anger away from them and leaves us biching at each other.
