Those kind of things will not happen in Destiny 1.
If they do decide to implement these kind of changes, they will do it in Destiny 2.

I don't think they are making a Destiny 2, I believe they are just going to continue expansions like this until 10 years later we have a 200 GB monstrosity…

Except that was leaked, so that might have changed. They seem to be acting like year 2 is sticking with Destiny 1.
