"Uh... Yeah."
The cashier ducks under his counter, and brings out all of the gear you asked for.
"That'll be--"
Suddenly, he pauses. His eyes widen, worried, maybe fearful, even. He looks distant, but then he looks back at you.
"--free..."

*he walks over and picks up the gear with a large smile on his face and begins walking toward the door. he then realizes he doesn't have any arrows for the bow, he turns around and looks at the cashier again.* "oh and 20 arrows, plus 5 with explosive tips... I'm going hunting."

The cashier tosses the arrows to you. "Good luck." he says to you.

"thank you sir." *jester bows, spins on his heels and walks out the door. he strides outside into the crowd and looks for an alley that may have junkies. he inhales deeply through his nose and smells city air, it's moist and smoggy but he's grown used to it. he spots a popular place for the junkies to hang out and heads that way. as he walks he places the katana on his back and strings the bow over his shoulder.*

You enter an apartment courtyard, where at least 4 junkies reside. They each converse with each other in drunken manors, showing each other their data chips and KAP-8 pills. They don't notice you, as you are at the end of an alleyway leading into the courtyard.

*i walk in as one of the junkies stumbles and trips, falling to the ground. the others burst into laughter as jester comes even closer. he stands 10 feet from the group and calls out.* "good evening fella's, I need a few data chips."

They all turn around clumsily to look at you with frightened expressions. "Who the hell're you?" one asks drowsily.

"the names Michael, and that's all you need to know about me." *he takes a few steps closer to the junkies as the fallen one gets to his feet.*

They shift nervously. "Well whaddya want, Michael?"

"data chips, 10 of em." *jester leans against one of the tables in the courtyard, though he wishes he hadn't. the table is cover with dirt and grim along with a slimy substance. but he must commit to his decision.*

The junkies look confused for a moment, and then hand the chips over in silence.

"thank you." *jester reaches out and takes the chips. he shoves one of the chips into his gauntlet and walks out of the courtyard and heads back to the beach.*
