The only thing they changed about the ghally is the wolf pack rounds, the initial rocket will still do the same amount of damage, along with tracking it's still going to be a sweet rocket launcher. I don't see what the big deal is if it gets nerfed, the best players can adapt.

The wolf pack rounds made it into what it was. Everything that will be the same can be had on any other RL.

I don't get it in the context that we've all known this was coming. The original Skolas fight should have been proof to anyone perceptive that a nerf had to happen, especially thinking back on it with this in mind. That was the result of Gjally/Hammer combos skewing the statistics Bungie used to determine how hard they should make things as they got more common; they made a fight that could only be completed initially through melting because their data couldn't tell them which completion times came from which weapon combos with which strategies, and it finally hit the critical point where it adversely affected game balance for PvE. It's a good thing Bungie's fixing this now rather than when Taken King comes out and everything's unbeatable.

Edited by chill: 7/19/2015 3:31:37 AMYou obv have no idea how gally works. No one cares about the initial impact it does. It's exotic perk and what makes it deadly is the wolfpack rounds. Big diff between unupgraded gally and gally with wolfpack. That's why people are in an uproar. Theyre affecting its exotic status. And it's not about adapting lol. This isn't the crucible. People are mad that bungie is arbitrarily extending the grind of this game.
