[spoiler] The first one is where you hold your sword backwards so the blade is along your forearm, where a small gesture of your arm can block incoming melee attacks, as well as slash back at them with an elbow thrust.
The Down and Up is where your sword pushes down the opposing melee weapon and then makes an upward slash at the opponent while their weapon is down.
The Friction Scissor is where you slide your sword down the opposing melee weapon when they are held together, striking the enemy.
