Kids are way worse at destiny than adults. I played with a group of 4 squeakers (one of them was 10!) and it was hands down the worst vog raid I've ever done. The spire kept deconstructing and it took us 30 minutes to get past the confluxes, even longer for oracles. I don't even want to talk about the templar. Half of them didnt even know what fatebringer was, and they had no clue how to do the jumping puzzle. We had to disconnect for the gorgons maze then reconnect. We couldn't beat Aetheon because the squeakers kept getting killed by the supplicants and didn't know how to use the relic. Worst yet, all of them were lying about being very experienced at vog. They were so bad despite them all being lvl 34. One guy jumped off the edge during confluxes because he was afraid of being killed by a minatour. So just saying, most little kids are absolutely terrible to play with. They suck at fighting, scream into their mics, try to be funny (but fail), don't work with teammates, and are just plain annoying. Especially the ones who aren't old enough to legally purchase Destiny.

Wrong. I'm a "kid" and yet I'm no squeaker. I play better then most of the adults I play with. A squeaker isn't just a term for kid it's a annoying person with high pitch squeaky voice and bitches.

Bottom line is more developed brains and motor skills equals better problem solving, understanding of difficult concepts, and faster reaction time. That's just fact. Doesn't mean everyone under 16 is bad at the game or that there aren't 10 year olds who can wipe the floor with most players of any age. The fact remains you are more likely to run into your average kiddos who are not going to be very skilled and have extremely low maturity levels. It's just easier to avoid kids as a whole than test out each one to see if they happen to be that video game prodigy. It's nothing personal. We just prefer to play with other adults. For the record I most certainly don't condone the abuse mentioned in the OP. If someone who would rather not be ends up in a fire team with some kids they should politely step out not harass them. Unfortunately as you will learn growing up...people are ass holes and if they have to talk trash to little kids online playing a video game you probably have more going for you in your young life than they ever will in the rest of theirs.

Many studies have shown that children have much, much slower reaction times than adults. That's why a 10 year old would have trouble hitting a baseball going 70 mph, but for an adult, it's no trouble at all.

Yes, experienced players can easily have an edge over inexperienced ones, and there are some younger people who are very, very good at video games. Not all young people are unhelpful, but I prefer not to play with the ones who are.

I'll go in lfg with my friend, find a third for poe or something, and then i hear, screamed into the mic, high volume, higher pitch "hoi goiys Wut are we douin?!?" -_- Most of the squeakers just let us down, but I'm not saying all of them are terrible.

I just mute people that hurt my ears. I used to be a speaker turned out my mic was broken and I had it too close
