So what exactly is being changed by this? Do you really think people are going to move up close and personal against the tank (not counting dragon strikes where you see people doing that for giggles)? When push comes to shove and people are playing for real, they will just sit back and wait like always, thus avoiding the fight as usual.
Their reasoning is that people are avoiding the fight by camping. Okay, this update changes nothing. People will still camp because no one will risk a wipe in a NF when the adds can kill you in 1-2 hits, especially the tank or the walker. The only thing that changes is the playtime. So instead of taking down the walker/tank in 30 seconds, you're taking it down in 1 minute 30 seconds. No player will go up close against the walker/tank. All they'll do is sit back and wait for IB to recharge or use a synth.
So either they're not thinking too well or they're doing this to ONCE AGAIN increase the artificial playing time of players. Either way, it was a terrible decision.
