Never had the good fortune to play Halo, but from what friends have told me and what I've seen I missed out big time. My biggest fear when I first saw advertising for this game and the name Activision was that it would turn into what it has.
But I was reassured by people saying but it's Bungie, it'll be good, the beta was fun and fair play the hype at E3 last year was very well done, it's just a shame the game doesn't live up to the hype.
Who do I blame both Bungie and Activision they are as bad as each other in my eyes.

True enough. The real question is just how much of Bungie is still there? They have lost so many members of their original team, and sadly enough the reason is Destiny, which was something they all wanted to make and set as their greatest masterpiece. Now we don't really know if this is THE Bungie or if its just Activision by another name.

Well let's just say that the studio that co-developed this game, I think it's High moon, are owned by Activision/Blizzard. So that's a pretty good pointer as to how much influence Activision has in this game.

Yeah, and I think perhaps that other studio probably did way more harm than anything else.
