Still going to stick with the Plan C and QueenBreaker's Bow, because fusion rifles will soon be even more amazing.

Yeah they are nerfing the already laughable weapon class that is the fusion rifle

I think the fusion rifles are great to be honest. And this 'nerf' that they're applying to them will make them charge a bit slower, but they'll have more impact and accuracy.
