Ideas for Redesigning Exotic Armor

Just some ideas for making lacklustre exotic armour fun and/or useful. I would like everyone to share their ideas and opinions on exotics. [b]ATS/8 Arachnid:[/b] Charlotte’s Web -Provides Shadow Trapper and Keen Scout for the Nightstalker subclass Shadow Trapper increases duration and potency of Shadowshot Tethers Keen Scout provide enhanced motion tracker and marks targets you damage with a waypoint for allies [b]Khepri’s Sting:[/b] Touch of Venom -Same perk plus getting a melee kill while invisible gives a 15-20% boost to precision damage for 7 seconds [b]Young Ahamkara’s Spine:[/b] Improved Tripmine Grenade -Can carry two Tripmine grenades that also last longer when placed [b]Bones of Eao/Radiant Dance Machines:[/b] Make it so you can combine/craft the boots together for maximum swag and agility (Design should be reminiscent of the god, Mercury’s/Hermes’ winged sandals) [b]Eternal Warrior:[/b] Melee kills trigger Transfusion and provides Amplify so you can take Overload to make it akin to Obsidian Mind. HIGH RISK HIGH REWARD HELM for PVE hard to chain Titan melees in PVP anyway [b]Insurmountable Skullfort:[/b] Upon activation Ward of Dawn triggers the Suppressor Grenade(no damage) effect in X radius(outside of the bubble) for 7-10 seconds. Useful for dispatching Wizards and can lockdown a control point very well. You’ll have time to dispatch players who would otherwise super your bubble. [b]The Glasshouse:[/b] Weapons of Light and Blessings of Light provide Extended Mag/Tripod, Outlaw, and Grounded. Duration of WoL and BoL reduced to 7 seconds. Maybe add Catapult? [b]ACD/0 FeedBack Fence:[/b] STRIKERS ONLY-Taking Damage from a melee triggers the Flashbang effect with extremely reduced damage(will not kill trash mobs). Does not affect the user. Ability is on a 35 second cooldown. [b]No Backup Plans:[/b] Getting a kill with Disintegrate triggers the Brawler effect for 7 seconds. [b]Peregrine Greaves[/b]: Shoulder Charge deals bonus damage and the Lightning Grenade effect centred on the target when activated in the air. ONLY ONE GRENADE PULSE. [b]Apotheosis Veil:[/b] Make it do something interesting for the Stormcaller subclass? [b]Sunbreakers:[/b] Solar Grenade has increased duration and on impact functions like a Firebolt Grenade [b]Starfire Protocol:[/b] Provides Song of Flame because everyone takes Fireborn

    Agreed [Gingerbread]Man! There are too many pieces of gear that are just useless when compared to all the other great pieces of gear. Nothing needs to be uber, but if everything was useful in some different way it would make the game more enjoyable. I like the idea for being able to equip Boots or Gloves in addition to Helms or Chest Pieces. Thank you Bungie for implementing our requested gear lock. Also, if you could "unlevel" or Charge/spend a charge on an exotic to instant power up your super; you could make the chargeup cost 1k glimmer and some materials so it's not overused and OP, or perhaps just unusable in PVP and have a 20 min timer in PVE. You could put this power on Marks/Capes/Bonds so they have some use other than faction. It is a waste as they are. Lastly, if you rip down a piece of gear (say, you got a dupe exotic but the new one rolled better stats) the game can automatically apply half the levels unlocks to the new piece of gear. It would just be nice if the game recognized that you already did that...
