Not really.....the reason why it works so well it because of peoples erroneous pre conceived notions. When people decide that they dislike something (whether because they have personally researched it or because its just the opinion of those around them that they have assimilated) they tend to believe almost anything that they might consider to be "bad" about that organization whether its true or not. For instance people claim that Fox News is a "terrible" news agency yet many of those same people hold up other news agencies such as MSNBC or CNN as if they are "good" news agencies. When in reality they are at the very minimum no better than Fox News. Because remember we are talking about the "news" divisions of these agencies. The very fact that you have written such a long article with such little thought into actually researching what the OP said is in fact ridiculous to an absolutely stupid measure. While you say well its believable therefore I should believe it.....you realize that other news agencies have done things that are even more outrageous than this article purports. Or have you forgotten years ago when CNN used an entire segment of their show "fact checking" a SNL skit about Obama? Seriously who in their right mind "fact checks" a SNL skit.........

This guy.... I tell anyone who watches any news source they are wasting their time. Read a paper or do a quick internet scan The news is 80% negativity.

Yea if you watch the news you have to take what they say with a grain of salt. Understanding that by and large they only tell you the news that they think will generate the most viewers. Which is why sometimes there are big news items that day but instead the national news focuses on something stupid....like Bruce Jenners sex change operation.......
