They already have iron banner e lights for glimmer i believe until ttk release at least that is only single player(no user picked team needed ) mode availability they will have for them as doing so offers instant jump from lvl 20 to current cap JUS from running iron banner 2x

I think you're saying you don't like the idea. But perhaps you'd reconsider if I told you that this idea is only meant to supplement the current game modes and not compete with them. I'm trying to provide more ways for players to gain Etheric Light who are maybe struggling with the other game modes.

You'd have to do a shit ton of grinding to be able to buy them as soon as you hit level 20. Bungie loves the grind. This idea would be doing them a favor. But, thank you disagreeing like a gentleman.

Also you only need 3 lights an an exotic with shard to hit 34 so as soon as u got the legendaries an 2 weeks of marks ur practically there with the whole 200 marks per light

People have a lot of gear they want to ascend and I've read many posts where people are saying they just can't seem to get enough. Myself, I'm not finding I have much worth ascending just raid gear mostly. My other gear just isn't all that great and not worth spending with the very few Etheric Light I'm able to pick up. I maybe be pickier than most, but this HoW gear just isn't very good.

Yea since HoW add getting gear is like 300% easier, as far as e lights go you gotta team up and LFG forum the stuff to get a team but provided you do that n hit up 32+ PoE they are pretty easy to stock up provided you can readily complete the challenges or raids

I don't buy DLCs, more out of principle than costs. So that factors into my idea. This would also provide more access to people who didn't pony up the $20 for HoW.

Lol well theres the issue, u dnt buy the content u dont get access to it, with ttk add unless you buy it you DONT get access to new subclasses for example

Bungie still allows access to it even without buying HoW, through Iron Banner and Nightfalls. But it seems that people who spent the extra $20 have massively more opportunities to obtain it. I'm not trying to level the playing field or make it "fair" because I'm not a child. But I think more access is better than less access.

I understand that. But that's not enough to make me spend $20. I didn't buy TDB, either. So far, I haven't missed it.

Yea in a year or three they will be dirt cheap tho competing then with not as much starting out will be much harder an u wont have access to what vendors are currently sellin cept thru engrams (current vendor load out on all vendors changes with each dlc add)
