How about a throwback Thursday event every week for the vendors
Would be pretty neat, every Thursday the venders sale day one legendary guns and armor, there were good guns and some cool looking armor and class items that most new comers will never get to experience, like the devil you know hand cannon for instance. I just think itd be a good event. Anybody else think so?

As much as I'd love to get my hands on the old Crucible Scout Rifles, being Cryptic Dragon and Aries Nemesis X4, I feel that it would take away from the "prestige" of having the older weapons. I myself have a FINAL BOSS that I love to bits, but I wouldn't want large numbers of other people to get one the same as me all of a sudden. Let's face it, the Day 1 players don't have anything else left aside from the old Vendor items.

1 ReplyI saved the first scout rifle I ever bought from the vanguard weapons supplier, the A1F19X-RYL. I had an extra ethiric light so I leveled it from 300 to 365. Holy crap it hits like a sledgehammer, and with firefly and the 27 round clip field scout gives it, it's better than just about any scout rifle you can get now. I can't wait to give it a run in iron banner. I would be all for your idea. The old weapons really were the best.

Would be a nice idea. On the other hand the satisfaction of unlocking those items yourself wouldn't quite be there. But still non the less a good idea.

I've been dwelling on it forever trying to think of how to actually convince bungie, then finally just figured need to start somewhere so bam, forum made hah. Wish it was as easy as just kicking in the door and be like here bungie, this is what the gamers want, roll with it! 😎
