Dominion's... 'Hobby', if you will, may now cost him his life.
He had been walking the streets, casually pinging people's devices, looking for a chink in the digital armor. What he found, however, was not what he was looking for. Oh, no. Not in the slightest.
He happened to stumble across one of the Monarch's servants in the digital world, gaining access purely due to the heavily damaged stage she was in. Any normal person would've just seen her as a girl with a small limp, but in the digital world, he could see that most of here servos in her left leg were damaged, as well as her receiver/transmitter pair. He hijacked the weakened signal, looking through it as broken strings of binary were relayed and translated.
As he scanned through the messages, his gauntlet suddenly lit up with warnings and error messages concerning the security of his device. He ignored them all until a message popped up.
The Monarch thanks you for your service.
He was momentarily confused until he heard a click directly in front of him. He glanced up to see the synth girl aiming a weapon at him.
As fast as he could, he dropped to the ground and stuck his leg out. The synth fired and grazed his right shoulder before he kicked out the synth's damaged leg. It bent at an unnatural angle, and the android dropped to the ground. It continued to fire at him, albeit inaccurate. He dispatched the robot with minimal injuries, however the commotion attracted people who were not used to seeing violence in the near-perfect sector of the city.
Dominion took it as his cue to leave, climbing up one of the drain pipes in the alley and running away across the rooftops.
