I agree. That's when cod was starting to get big and everyone thought that running and gunning was good

Wasn't it a very short sprint? At least it wasn't a cross-map-shoot-you-in-the-back-akimbo-shotguns-a-la-COD

Reach was awesome. sprint was a bummer, but I honestly didn't care about that at all. The multiplayer was just as good as any other halo, the story was amazing, and the fact that you were your own spartan was on of the best aspects.
