How should we support ourselves?

How do we, as the community, need to take the initiative to ensure that the community as a whole is steered in the right direction? How could Bungie reasonably support us? It's open mic night in this thread. Let's hear some ideas.

 • I think Progo gets it, more interaction, more presence, more input directly from Bungie's employees in the community. One could write a breakthrough paper or give an incredible lecture on any subject, but it won't matter if you're not published or heard... Feels like being an ant in a marching crowd wearing boots. It's up to Bungie to open a stage for the old crowd/community, so far it's pretty much all Destiny all the time adorned with numbers and statistics, and topics on the nerf, smurf, boots, loot and flashy butt flaps. Seems they're a little bit interested though, seeing DeejCozmo's posts/interaction?
