Shadowshot tethers appear capable of providing support which is what the class is for. Hunters have always been situational though.
Where'd you get the info on Bob the Builder? Was it from an E3 video? Does the Arc Lightning for Storm trance do enough dmg to major enemies?

Takes skill and certain skills to tether effectively, bob the builder is frlrom watching the videos and gameplays Stormtrance is average for pve but very strong in pvp
