This is just a little change up of the forums due to the whole weapon tuning thing.
Now I don't mean for this to break out into arguments ok guys I'm just generally curious as to how the rest of the destiny community judges other players without ever meeting or playing with them.
Me personally I look at grimoire score, only because it shows how dedicated someone is to completely maxing out the game.
But like I said no arguments, hey you might even learn something and improve your character so it impresses other people without even playing with them.
Edit 1: my bad for not explaining myself about the grimoire. I won't disallow anyone into my raid team, Poe team etc if their grimoire score is low however I will change my playstyle to be more serious. For example if a level 34 is in my raid team and they have 1000 grimoire score then I will change my playstyle to be more serious and more descriptive in my actions due to the fact they have not done said raid before. My bad for not explain that sorry.
Edit 2: I'm so glad with the outcome of this post. Almost no arguments and people talking nice to each other and giving their constructive feedback based on their "judgment system" it's been lovely reading all of your replies and even engaging in conversations with some of you. Nice to see we still have a lovely polite community of guardians after the whole ordeal lately, this will be my last edit for this post guys but I hope to see you all in the battlefield some day guardians :) happy killing

If In PvP or similar, I'll judge someone based off of their grimoire, and if they tea bag or not
-
stats... stats stats stats... NO they do not define a player, but they sure as fuk give you an idea of what they are capable of.
-
On skill and character
-
I judge them based on how they react I situations, and how they treat other fireteam members.
-
I strictly don't judge until I play with someone. I won't even look at G score so it doesn't away my opinion before I see for myself
-
I dont really judge unless they drop 20+ deaths in the crucible and have under 5 kills, that to me shows you either went afk and could have left or you are absolutely terrible at this game and should play pve until you learn how to aim and shoot...
-
I don't judge people until I play with them.
-
On their ability
-
I refuse to ever play with randoms (except in control) so I already know the skill lvl of my fireteam.
-
grimoire score is a good start point if u dont know at all the player joined your team and plz to those ppl always chatting about grimoire is only shit cuz its easy collect ghosts. remember that when u have done collecting all the 77 ghosts u only get 540 grimoire points so if a player has more than 3000 it means he played a lot and spent time doing pvp and pve things besides ghosts. anyway i like play with almost everyone and i really dot f##king care about their skills. but yes i agree when i meet a low grimoire guy i get a lill more serious and help him as i can ^+^ love destiny <3
-
Why judge when a 1/3 of a max grimoire is collecting ghosts ? Not hard.
-
I don't love the idea of grimiore score. But I suppose that if you have a high grimiore then you've probably chased down a lot of ghosts. So you've probably been motivated enough to search destiny on YouTube. So you've probably seen enough to know how things work. So I guess it's ok. When I'm getting a raid team together and someone new is in the group I usually stop by destiny tracker to get an idea of how much work we are going to have to go to bring someone up to speed. And I've never booted anyone in my life. Either we all finish or we don't. No man left behind.
-
Grimoire Score, its the easiest way to see how much time someone invested in this game. I'm not saying that players with under 2500 grimoire are always holding teams back, but typically I don't have to explain the Atheon or Crota fight to someone with 3000+ grimoire.
-
If you teabag me I assume you are a child. If you are lagging a lot at opportune moments I assume you are cheating. If you are in my Fireteam I assume you are good until you prove otherwise.
-
I wont boot someone from a fireteam because of a low grimoire (under 2700), but im gonna keep an eye on em. Excessive dying, hindering progress, will get you booted. If you show up and say "ive never done this raid/poe before" then ill stick with you and we'll get it done. Grimoire doesn't seem to actually indicate skill level at all. Just experience. A lower grimoire player may be really good at pvp and good at pve combat, but experience makes a big difference. Keeping the round alive with situational awareness in critical moments is invaluable. That usually comes from experience.
-
I dont judge any player. Each and every player is entitled to do whatever they want with their character/account and play however they want. Grimoire score is nothing special, it only shows how much of the game you have completed or how much grinding you have done. The only 2 grimoire card i really grinded on were the ogre and hydra. Everything else was ontained through regular gameplay. In all honesty i hear all these muppets judging a player on their grimoire to determine if they can join raids or not. How pathetic can you be by doing this? I would much rather play with a person that has never done a raid rather than a person with that sort of attitude!
how the rest of the destiny community judges other players without ever meeting or playing with them.
PvE: PoE Challenge kd. PvP: Medal Score, kd.
-
If you act like an idiot, you're not welcome to my fireteam.
-
By grimoire score and gear.
-
I don't
-
I judge by how good you are as a player, kinda suck at the game? I'll work harder. Play really well? Great! Let's have some fun!
-
I usually judge them by their Grimoire. "Oh, that guy's level 3 with 200 Grimoire... Must be new."
-
I judge by Grimoire, in terms of judging would be 'assess experience'
-
Truly Grimoire just cant be used as a clear indication. Of course it shows if a Player played more or less the game, BUT it doesnt show how long this player already play PVP. Take me as example, i almost play no crucible and have 3270 Grimoire. Many People would think that im a experienced Player in PVP , but im NOT. Just sayin

Got to have a warped, twisted, sarcastic sense of humor, dark also. I like sarcastic, to and fro name calling (not negatively, just for the craic) and such. If this doesn't amuse you, we wouldn't get on; Warning: offensive! You must have been a strong baby?
how did you get out of the abortion bucket?
