How do YOU judge players?
This is just a little change up of the forums due to the whole weapon tuning thing.
Now I don't mean for this to break out into arguments ok guys I'm just generally curious as to how the rest of the destiny community judges other players without ever meeting or playing with them.
Me personally I look at grimoire score, only because it shows how dedicated someone is to completely maxing out the game.
But like I said no arguments, hey you might even learn something and improve your character so it impresses other people without even playing with them.
Edit 1: my bad for not explaining myself about the grimoire. I won't disallow anyone into my raid team, Poe team etc if their grimoire score is low however I will change my playstyle to be more serious. For example if a level 34 is in my raid team and they have 1000 grimoire score then I will change my playstyle to be more serious and more descriptive in my actions due to the fact they have not done said raid before. My bad for not explain that sorry.
Edit 2: I'm so glad with the outcome of this post. Almost no arguments and people talking nice to each other and giving their constructive feedback based on their "judgment system" it's been lovely reading all of your replies and even engaging in conversations with some of you. Nice to see we still have a lovely polite community of guardians after the whole ordeal lately, this will be my last edit for this post guys but I hope to see you all in the battlefield some day guardians :) happy killing

1 ReplyI judge about how they handle clutch moments. Players that are good can pull almost everything off. Example, myself pulled a 4 man together to finish atheon on hard after the 2 left us like chumps. They didn't want to do it but we pulled it off because I kept everyone in check by leading every sec. Timing was important and every player needed to be in the right spot when needed. It wasn't that hard but it was fun

Doesn't matter to me. I don't check anything and if I have to explain something, I do. Haven't ever ran across anybody that has no business playing the game. Just people that need taught how to do what we're doing

For PVP: If they have raid gear on or gear that supports auto rifle ammo and reload when they have a hand cannon equipped they are BKs

i dont judge before a raid its during when true colors start to show , but if everbody is willing to listen and learn from the guardians with experience then lets roll and get this done , but if not its kick or self kick see ya !

Weapons, gear, and armor builds (Intellect, discipline, strength). If you inspect someone and they have 400 strength etc and nothing else, non leveled weapons or simply not a smart choice of weapons for said activity (trying to kill oracles with a Hawkmoon for example), and grimoire to a certain point. I have friends that have between 2500 and 2800 grimoire that have hundreds of raid completions, so as long as they're in the high 2000s give or take they're probably decent. Low 2000s or below you'll probably have to explain the encounter (even though they'll tell you they know what to do as they die over and over again)

Also armor stats being unbalanced is a good indicator. If the have 0 intelligence and strength over 400 it's likely the only gear that puts them at that lvl. I try to give ppl the benefit of the doubt but more often than not bad equipment is a red flag

i dont judge anyone at first, not by their level, gear, and especially not their grimoire score just by playing with someone for 10/15 minutes or by listening to them talk about the game you should have an idea of what type of person you are dealing with.

I'm like hmmm, maybe he's just tired, forgot, something like that. Asking about noob shit like, "OMG what is that ship/shader? How do you get that?", strike 2. I'm like maybe they don't have a lot of friends, oh well I can probably help them through it, no big deal (I guess). Finally a group that insists on all max lvls for a hard VOG. "What a noob, he's only lvl 30 (with maxed out weapons and all VOG gear to their unlvled Suros) kick him he doesn't know what he's doing!!!", strike 3. I'm like okay, -blam!- this. These guys are dipshits. I'm out. Enjoy your 3 hour VOG run, I forsee a lot of time wasted on them watching YouTube walk through videos, arguing, and people leaving. ***Special shout out to the guy with the worst connection in the world demanding to fireteam/party host. Thanks for wasting everyones time***

2 RepliesIf I'm playing House of Devil's Lair strike, I rate highly any player who: 1. In the laser grid area, shoots the vandal snipers on the balcony first. 2. In The Blast (where the tank fight happens), anyone who shoots the vandal in the broken room to the right of the tank before I do.

4 RepliesI don't judge. When it comes to raids talking is part of it so a simple question as to players experience is all that is required. Grim score is just another tool for elitists to use to discriminate or judge others by.

I judge players based solely on their behavior. My gaming time is relaxation time. If you're an a-hole, I'll leave or kick you if I'm leader. I don't care if you have a 3665 Grimoire score.
