How do YOU judge players?
This is just a little change up of the forums due to the whole weapon tuning thing.
Now I don't mean for this to break out into arguments ok guys I'm just generally curious as to how the rest of the destiny community judges other players without ever meeting or playing with them.
Me personally I look at grimoire score, only because it shows how dedicated someone is to completely maxing out the game.
But like I said no arguments, hey you might even learn something and improve your character so it impresses other people without even playing with them.
Edit 1: my bad for not explaining myself about the grimoire. I won't disallow anyone into my raid team, Poe team etc if their grimoire score is low however I will change my playstyle to be more serious. For example if a level 34 is in my raid team and they have 1000 grimoire score then I will change my playstyle to be more serious and more descriptive in my actions due to the fact they have not done said raid before. My bad for not explain that sorry.
Edit 2: I'm so glad with the outcome of this post. Almost no arguments and people talking nice to each other and giving their constructive feedback based on their "judgment system" it's been lovely reading all of your replies and even engaging in conversations with some of you. Nice to see we still have a lovely polite community of guardians after the whole ordeal lately, this will be my last edit for this post guys but I hope to see you all in the battlefield some day guardians :) happy killing

1 ReplyLevel, grimoire, communication and gear. If I see a level 7 with 3000 grimoire score, I know that they have other characters. If I see a level 32 with a grimoire of 1800, I can surmise that they're relatively inexperienced with the game. In a game (let's say pvp), I see a level 34 Hunter with a leveled celestial nighthawk equipped, I know that they're not going to take the match seriously or be very experienced.

I don't judge anyone until I play with them, I don't judge people by stats/Grimoire because they easy to manipulate or achieve

Grim, anyone under 2500 hasn't played the game enough for me to believe they know their shit. Yes that's not always true but it has only failed me once so far

3 RepliesI don't judge by Grimore, because so many people make fun of mine, and I've been playing since week 1! I judge based on skill and their attitudes, I won't kick anyone out if they don't have Gally, ect.

If people are trying to play correctly, I'm cool with them, regardless of their [i]skill[/i] level. And by "play correctly" I mean things like playing the objective in PVP, not going AFK in strikes, etc, etc.

In crucible, I check out grimoire and anyone who's got higher than me gets a quick look at their inventory. Anyone with 3500 plus you just know is going to be good.

I've been judged by my grimore, Which is very stupid, I know people with 3400+ who are scrubs, Grimore does NOT say anything about how good someone is.... I'd rather play crucible ( Even though the servers are sh*t ) than go ghost hunting, people say it takes about 20-30 mins to collect all... I have better things to do... I'm just saying for those peeps out there who base grimore as a Good Player.... SMH IRL....

For PvP? Grimoire and their load outs, how they use the perks on weapons and their own subclass For PvE? Never really do lol as long as they aren't annoying Idc if they're new or not

I like the grim as an identifier as well, but as you know, it doesn't always reflect skill. I don't really care to judge guardians preemptively unless we're doing a high level activity, and I only do the judging internally. If its something I can carry them through Ill spend the time teaching what to do and how to get the guns and gear they need to be better. What I don't like is when I'm invited or join a group going into VoG hard/Crota hard or 34-35 PoE and the person doesn't have reasonable weapons, gear or light level and doesn't know strategy's. The higher tier activities should be something you attempt when the lower ones have been mastered. No matter what, I think the best way to tell is to play with the guardian and decide for yourself based off a real time display of skill or lack there of. I agree with the Ninja below, good company trumps my caring every time. My 2 best friends that I play with regularly have offensively low grim, lack a lot of the weapons, dont have very good tactics and cant adapt. But we're laughing the entire time and having fun so I usually dont pay attention to how often Im reviving them or having to wipe because of them.
