Grimoire, if you aren't near 3k you're probably bad. Then load outs, it says a lot. Especially if your perks on armor compliment weapon choices. I know I have a set of gear for pulse rifles and a set for hand cannons. Then pulse rifle with snipers or shotguns, same with hand cannons. It's all about min/maxing.
