The nerf is fine people. Black Hammer as of right now seems like a exotic sniper more than a legendary sniper. This weapon just decimates bosses precision hit areas within seconds (if not minutes)! Getting one consecutive shot right after another non-stop with infinite ammo from a far distance without having to worry about being damaged or interrupted is just way to easy. Yes it's faster. Yes it helps out so so much. But it makes things too easy. I can under stand why the are nerfing Icebreaker as well. If these snipers are left in their current state they will blow any future raids into oblivion and VERY EASILY make bosses in them and alike fall with hardly any skill. This update they are getting ready to deliver is not just for the "now" but the future of "things" to come.

good, then let them be creative about making our "future bosses" instead of using the easy "nerf" button they always feel is necessary.

Why should a sniper for PvE have infinite ammo?

Why shouldnt it? It still takes skill to land 3 precision shots with BH, and Icebreaker getting 3 extra seconds still gives it unlimited ammo, but more importantly because of the hours we put in to acquire those weapons. I personally have 1200 hours in. The changing of weapon dynamics and ESPECIALLY perks, is in no way acceptable. Now there are those who will say Im a "cry baby", but this update just makes us day one players basically beta testers. I respect your opinion, much as I would hope you respect mine, but to me, Bungie simply nerfs a gun (the cheap easy way out) rather than using creativity, and make a boss that is challenging. Oh, and let's not forget that their WHOLE reasoning behind Ghally is the LFG groups requiring someone to have Ghally. What a joke! Guess making a way to match people in game isn't easy enough, NERF! Hope they lose A LOT of sales over this, they certainly lost my money. That's just my opinion, hope you have a wonderful evening! Good luck in Destiny.

If this update comes out, you are correct! They still have time to recant though, and secondly, you commented on a petition AGAINST the update, designed to make Bungie do the correct thing and nerf themselves! did you expect us all to not be "bad mouthing to oblivion"? Did you think your comment would just immediately change our opinion?

I stand by what I said. Play the game or not. Bad mouth it or not. Do what you will but I'm going to be playing Destiny.
