Don't get mad. It's an Rng system so you can't have everything. Right now you are sounding pretty selfish.

Just Solo'd nightfalls on all three characters... got some BS, and two Gjallarhorns. dismantled both. would GLADLY trade them for hawkmoon. That's the second time in a row that I've rolled two gjallarhorns within 20 minutes of each other. Those of you who say that is due to RNG > -blam!- ing stupid. the odds are astronomical.

Edited by Mr. Cubicle: 7/24/2015 3:57:25 PMSure the odds arent good of that happening but it still could happen due to the nature of an RNG system. Bungie isn't going, "hey lets give this guy 2 gjallarhorns in a row, but let's make sure he never gets a hawkmoon."

It's due to RNG. Just because the odds of it happening are low doesn't mean it can't happen. You seem to fail to realize that random means you could get a different gun every time, or the same gun 5 times in a row. RANDOM!

you're right, I understand. It doesn't mean that it CAN'T happen. However the frequency at which it does happen, is statistically impossible. I'm not just talking about one time here.. I've seen it happen across all of my accounts, and all of my friends accounts. It's not just simple RNG. rolls are weighted based on how much you like a weapon type, and if you've had the weapon drop before.

Random can never be statistically impossible though! Random means it is possible to roll the exact same gun every time. 20 times in a row even. Explain to me how rolling the same number twice in a row on a million sided die is impossible. It's improbable at best. The fact that it's random just makes it all the more possible. You seem to have a rather tentative grasp on what RNG really means.
