For so many players, myself included, it seems the mighty gjallerhorn is all that escapes us and is why we still play. These guns that are considered OP have "become legend" in the game. They are the topic of much heated debate. They are beautiful works of art in their own right. They have become real to us. It's in bungies best interest to keep them real to us. I love to feel the power of the thunderlord and hear the crack of the icebreaker, to see the beautiful gjallerhorn Wolfpacks bring the hive prince to his knees. I want the feeling of finally getting the fatebringer. I'll never forget the first time I got to use black hammer on a walker or thorn in crucible. It's a wonderful thing to feel like you're legend when you finally kill skolas, but it feels like s#it when they destroy the integrity of the weapons you've worked so hard to get.
I understand that pvp is a different animal and thorn is OP. Final rounders are jerks blah blah blah. I get it and agree.
Gjallerhorn icebreaker and blackhammer though?
Jerks will be jerks even after the patch. You can't stop people from booting people who don't have.
