Allen sprints across a rooftop chasing the escaped convict. The gaps between rooftops are small but this is dangerous nonetheless. When money is tight, you do what you have to do.
The job was simple, get the guy out of the bar and bring him back to the police station, but he had to be a runner. Best part was no firearms, he's wanted alive and mostly unharmed. Allen would have to do this the old fashioned way. The man slipped on a puddle of water, which gave Allen enough time to catch up to him.
Now cornered the man draws his knife and threatens he will not go back to containment.

"That's not how this is gonna roll"

"It is gonna roll like that!" the man barks furiously as he makes small, threatening jabs at you with his switchblade. His knife is much smaller than yours. You could take him on.
-
Stupid kid I think. During one of his jabs I grab his wrist and pull him forward, stepping into his reach. At the same time I slice his wrist with my knife.
-
He screams in pain as you hold him down. He wriggles violently under your grasp, trying to break free. "I'm not goin' back! I'm not goin' back!" he yells.
-
With my knee on his chest I know he's not going anywhere. I reach in my jacket and light my cigar. "Sorry kid, just business" I blow the smoke in his face
-
His struggles and commotion slowly ease away into unconsciousness, and his eyes roll into his head as he snores. He's out.
-
I heft him up onto my shoulder and head down a fire escape. I bring up my tac-pad and call for my bike. It revs around the corner and I throw him over the back. I call the police and wait for them to arrive so they can take him and give me my reward.

They pay you 1,500 Credits. A little low, but not nothing. You accept it.
