I think bungie should add split screen to the game where people can have friends over and either they can use there own characters, or maybe even use yours with your permission.
I remember trying to convince a friend to get the game so I tried showing it to him, but it was hard because When I let him use my character, he dosent know what to do, it would have been easier if we had split screen and I was able to help him and guide him.
It would also be fun to just have a friend over and play destiny with them In person, maybe during all nighters or sleep overs. Like I said before they would be able to use either there own characters, one of yours with you permission, or a newly made one that either won't save if they have three characters, or will if they don't and if they choose to save it.
What do you guys think?

Nope. Split screen looks awful whenever it's played. Plus, characters are tied to PSN/Xbox Live login. Can't have two accounts logged in at the same time.

I would love to play with a friend at my house. Maybe bungie can limit it in some way but whenever a friend comes over I know I have to pull that disc out.

Can't have split screen because of the limitation to one account per xbox or ps. In multiple xbox owners in one house, it's also an incentive to purchase more copies. Yea, you can transfer license, but the purchase option is probably the easiest in the eyes of Activion. This is just a hypothesis though

The key is, games used to have split screen because they developed games to spread joy. Now it's each person must have their own console, and their own disc, because money

Edited by Riseaboveit24: 7/24/2015 4:15:25 PMThe fact alone you said "sleepovers" basically tells us your age bracket, for 1. For 2, it is not Bungie's "philosophy" to include split screen gameplay with this game. If so they would've given it to us on day 1.
