You ascend the tree branches, hoisting Ex Nihilo in one arm.
The mech doesn't seem to care about you, and continues to lumber on after the rest of the team.
But then, in a bout of steam, one of the pods on the mech's sides slides open, and a smaller mechanical figure leaps out of it, a droid. After it lands on the ground, it sprints blindingly fast toward the tree you sit in, carrying two energy swords in its hands.

As Silent Mantis scales the tree trunk, the lightning pulses onto her body, and she is buffered. She struggles against the arcs of lightning for a small moment, but then she starts to slowly continue climbing under the pressure of the heavy electricity. She doesn't seem to be sparking or disabled, just slowed.

I fire a quick bolt at it. I jump to another branch and use my telekinesis to rip the the giant branch it stands on hopefully knocking it over.

Edited by HickoryHamMike: 7/25/2015 2:10:46 AMIt is stunned while you climb up, but quickly recovers to full ability again once you settle yourself. It sheaths its swords to its sides and whips out the SMG, spraying bullets at you. Instinctively, you duck behind your branch. You snap off the branch the droid is standing on, but it only grasps back onto the trunk as the gargantuan branch falls 50 feet back to the ground. It resumes climbing toward you.

I do a Jack knife kick and kick two telekinetic waves at the tree it's climbing, hopefully destabilizing it. I fire continuous chain of lighting at it.
