Wilson's gun swings around to aim at her.
CHRIST you're even more of stuck-up bitch this time around...
English
-
"I missed you the most, dear Wilson." She out stretches her arms to the sky, forming a lance of magic above her. Effortlessly, she tosses it with a flick of her hands towards you. "But fret not, I have a special surprise for you..." A violet flare simmers in her eyes...
-
His audio feeds are totally off, he can hear nothing of her. His back to her, several hundred small beads shoot out from his armor. The spear impacts, but simply bounces off his thick armor plating. All of the beads explode in a bright flash, covering the area with heavy, choking smoke, completely obscuring him and reducing visibility to mere inches. A burst of fire is heard from somewhere off in the smoke, and roughly 50 Epitaxite rounds scream towards June, Wilson's MG3 tracking her every move.

Edited by The Monarchy: 7/25/2015 8:20:42 PMA lingering dust fills the air from the impact of the arcane spear. As the bullets exit the barrel, the particles latch on like a quick forming ice. The bullets freeze in air, suspended by the remnants of the tanked attack. The smokescreen does not dissipate, but from above, eight spider-like limbs grip onto your suit. June's face meets yours inches away from your visor, her eyes shining like beacons of hope; her maniacal grin showing teeth. "This is a gift I forgot to present to you back in Blackwind. I just know you'll love it." The gaze of strife enslaves your mind. Bow to the violet lady.
The boss abilities are regularly scheduled events within a fight to make them more challenging. Most can be avoided, but doing so requires an inhuman level of persuasive roleplaying. In this instant, the bold text identifies that you failed to successfully dodge it. June's power is cognitive persuasion, so choose another fighter and start attacking him. The timer for recovery starts when you make that first post against another RPer. You will be the judge of how they combat you. They can opt to down you and end the mind control early, but someone other than them must revive you. I hope you know I intentionally wanted you to be the first one to fight with her. Don't worry, it'll all be over soon...
Edited by Trashcan Jesus: 7/25/2015 8:32:21 PM
I know, but how the -blam!- does it work when he can't see nor hear her? The gun's auto tracking and his audio feed is cut. She also would have no -blam!-ing clue as to where he even is. That's some bullshit.
Upon touching the suit, she is met with the force of a bolt of lightning hitting her ,as his Tesla shields are online. His MG3 swings at her and rips across her chest at point blank range. Thrown off of him by the force of the electricity, he turns to Cobalt.
-
She is shocked backwards, but lands on her feet. The bullets are once again halted by the lingering field of dust. "Tish tish, Wilson. Defiance does not please your mistress." She attempts to step forward and admire the work she has done, when a sharp pain in her torso stops her. She looks down to see her chest oozing ichor, staining her once beautiful uniform skirt. Wounded!
When a boss is wounded, you have dealt a blow to stagger them for an indefinite amount of time. The catch is that the response must be well made and strong enough to counter any sort of retaliation. So long as you make a strong post of how you kicked ass, I'll give you the hit.
Edited by Trashcan Jesus: 7/25/2015 9:33:57 PMOn the ground where Wilson lies, his armor hisses and clicks, his shielding roars back to life, and he uses his jet pack to stand back up. His MG3 immediately swings to aim at June, his protonic inversion blade appears again. Standing to full height, the flag across his back blows in the wind, ripped to pieces by Cobalt's shotgun. He draws both of his magnums, and pulls the hammers back. His thrusters roar to life, as he slams into June as she is recovering. Stay out of my head, bitch. He fires two shots point blank into her, the .50 caliber shells slamming into her. Holstering them, he uppercuts her, his blade out. Not only does the blade feel like a plasma cutter, she is electrocuted again as his fist connects with her chin. Because I intend to take yours.
-
HIT! The bullets and uppercut rattle June's slender body. As she falls to the ground, she rolls back into the tree stump by the lake. "Brrr, that's quite a shock, isn't it? I wood be better off if you refrained from touching me." Following the greatest pun in existance, she backflips over the stump. When she lands on the opposite side of the rotting bark, she cuts across it with her estoc, and kicks the severed piece of log at you.
-
His MG3 screams to life, ripping the log apart, as bullets keyhole towards her, and some others continue straight on.
Getting hit by a keyholing bullet is worse than a clean shot. Keyholing rounds spin in the air and are typically twisted and smashed after hitting something. They still retain lethal velocity, and tumble when they enter flesh, making for really, really nasty wounds.
I'm not much on puns, but I am big on guns. His MG3 screams again. tracking her.
-
June continues to evade with care, the bullets getting closer and closer to her as she progressively moves to and fro. At last she jumps into the air, and casts a ball of purple fire that crashes into the ground, sending out a shockwave that knocks you into the shallow lake.
-
The water crackles with electricity as he stands back up. Oh I'm not that easy, sweetie. Steam billows from his armor, and the barrel of the MG3. Come on, face you fears, accept your war.... His thrusters kick in again, and he trucks her. Grabbing her, he lifts her Bane-style, and slams her into his knee. She is electrocuted yet again.
-
HIT! June dashes backwards after the blow has been dealt. "My my, gents. I must say, I'm rather impressed... Huff... But I won't let it fall to pieces that easily. People have always called me a tease. I hope these blue balls don't give you cold feet for next time..." The boss has escaped the fight!
That was the killing blow for this portion of the fight. You don't get to kill her juuuust yet... Huehuehue...

Why you gotta do dis to me man? Your stuff never fails to impress, but it was meant for him lol. Gimme a minute to debate whether it'll count as a hit or not.

Sowwy fam. I iz no smarticle and cuunt understoond. I'll redact it and save it for later lol

Just roll with it. Magic is magic and bosses are bosses. We've come to deal with the former ever since we started at the Dojo. Sometimes, realism is rendered null for good reasons in this kind of situation. And I'm only willing to back him up because its a certain mechanic. Maybe it was the weird blocking mist thing that took out the bullets. Y'know, the shit that froze it in midair. I don't know how or why, but meh.
-
Careful, Alexander. She has that mind control thing-- and there's nothing we can do to negate it. I'll assume she can control only one, so we're gonna have to work together on this. I'm backing you up right now with some rifle fire, but I'll be sure to engage CQC when the pressure hits.
Edited by Trashcan Jesus: 7/25/2015 3:38:34 AMHe looks to you, the gun turns back. He disengages the lock, and pulls the Browning off of his shoulder, fitting his MG3 into the mount, the 7.62mm machine gun loaded with Expitaxite ammunition.. There's a reason I've got the gun to her and not my own eyes. I cut the gun's feed and set it to auto. It knows she's the target. If I can land a few chest shots, get her eyes away from me, I'll -blam!-ing crush her. Shouldn't be a problem with the MG3, this -blam!-er shoots a helluva lot faster than The Deuce.
When I encountered her at Delta, she took control of me with just her voice. Is there anyway you can "mute" the sounds of the outside world?
Kill your helmet's audio feeds.
