[b]OFF THE RECORD 6TH REFRESH RP:[/b]
[b][i]As [ ], Katt and Etana ride their motorcycle back to the outskirts of Oasis with the journalist in their hold, Kai, Zhackie, and Phantym, remain in their stand-offs between the Tin-Men: Kai has escaped Silent Mantis, but knows she will be following him, Zhackie is trapped under the foot of Primal Ram, a rifle being aimed at his face, and Phantym is jockeying Thundering Moose, attempting to dislodge some of its armor panels, but to no success.
[ ], Katt and Etana are safe, but Kai, Zhackie and Phantym are not. At least one of them may die at the hands of the Tin Men, but then you've got to ask...
Where the hell is Rom?[/i][/b]

He materializes and lands with a thud, and lays there, the blood was still soaking through his coat. His breathing was heavy, he brought it into control, he needed to stay on his stomach in order to have gravity on his side. He hears Rom's howling in the distance. He smiles, but stays put and quiet, he couldn't do anything in his sorry state.

[b]I take 4 more KAP, making 12, dangerously close to overdosing, and secure my body down on the face of the Mech using TK. I then focus on the ground in front of me, causing a quakes in the ground as I start to raise several walls of solid rock in front of it.[/b] [b]Suddenly, I find myself laying on the ground. I look to find myself with the other Hunters.[/b] What? The hell happened? Where is Moose?

((Rom is with Katt)) [i]I'm going to die[/i] was all Zhackie could think as the rifle leveled on his head. [i]This is I really mi-[/i] that's when the rifle is knocked off aim by another bullet. [i]No, not yet[/i] Zhackie grits his teeth, places a firm hand on the droids leg and sends electricity surging across the mechanical body of the beast to buffer it's movements for the next few moments. The current prevents ram from adding anymore pressure on his torso. Simultaneously Zhackie also uses his telekinesis to hoist the steel wreckage of the CPD vehicle behind Ram and send it flying(at a rather fast speed due to his panicked state) towards his blind spot. "I won't die yet!!" Zhackie screams as he's still sending the surge and as the vehicle is a moments notice from impact.

Then, in a blur of white and grey, the wrecked cruiser slams into an unsuspecting Primal Ram, who is sent flying off of you. He and the cruiser land a few feet away, rolling and tumbling further into the surrounding ferns. You better run before Ram gets himself out of it.

He gets up, his breathe uneasy and his limbs shaky. Having been seconds away from death he is starting to remember things, a certain set of words echo through his head. Words that were shouted to him by his best friend years ago, but they couldn't be more relevant now more than ever. [i]Run you stupid bastard[/i]. And he does, as soon as he finds his feet he darts, practically vanishes in the direction he arrived in the first place to meet with the rest. His adrenaline was doing it's work, the pain in his broken nose was gone and he was running faster than he ever thought he could. Whatever that thing was he knew he couldn't take it alone, getting away was now top priority as he made his way towards Rom's howling, who was with the rest of the group.

Behind you, you hear a mechanical roar, though it isn't from Thundering Moose; you hear Ram's voice in it, as well as the churning and screeching of metal being ripped apart. You then hear a dozen reports of a rifle behind you before your back is lit on fire with pain. You collapse to the ground. You can feel blood soaking though the clothes on your back. You lie under the ferns, incapacitated. Primal Ram is coming.

((I did, but hearing 12 shots before getting hit has a way of telling someone he's probably about to get shot. It's fine tho)) He collapses, [i]Shit[/i]. He get's his thoughts together as he reaches into his coat takes some of his pills. He pats slams his hand on the ground and sends out a sensory wave a good distance around. With the ram still a good distance away(but closing) he lets the wave travel as he gets a mental three dimensional map in his mind. The wave disperses and fades, with the map in his mind he teleports himself, he could have gone anywhere.

((Alright.)) Primal Ram finally nears the spot in which you fell to his bullets. He steps closer until he sees that you have vanished. He glares around the clearing. "Damned Psions," he growls, "never know when to perish." He then turns back to Thundering Moose. "They've all gone. Let's move out." Moose wails in annoyance. "Don't strain; we [b]will[/b] get them next time." Primal Ram promises in a low tone as he climbs aboard the mech and into a pod on its back. Silent Mantis silently returns to Moose and Ram, and slips into her pod as well. Moose then turns, and stomps away, back towards the river. ((I modded Phantym to be with the other Hunters since he's AFK.))
