I would have to rate HoW a B- / C+. ToO is excellent, PoE is less than good, especially the weapons, the rewards / effort trade-off of PoE Lvl 35 and lack of matchmaking for at least levels 32 and 34.
Edit: A historical note on grading:
Some schools do hand out E letter grades instead of an F, but they are in the minority. A majority of schools give grades of A, B, C, D, or F.
Rather than a failure on the part of academic institutions to know the alphabet, the simple answer is that “F” stands for “fail.” The other four grades are more or less considered “passing” (though in some districts a D is also a failing grade), which is why they go in alphabetical order. The F is considered separate as it denotes a failing grade, and does not need to go in alphabetical order. It just so happens that “fail” starts with a letter that skips one letter alphabetically on the scale.

Man, really lost interest in doing the Nightfall this week, will probably pass on all PoE, but look forward to Iron Banner.

It goes beyond just PoE and ToO. It's about fixing the mess that was TDB. They finally are starting to make changes that make sense (uses for npcs, weapon reforging, new weapon class, new weapon talents, minimizing all these stupid currencies, crafting bosses that are more than just bullet sponges that actually have somewhat creative mechanics, showing pvp players some love, etc... For that reason I gave it a B. Just the content itself was a C/D, but the general way that the game is headed is very promising and they went a long ways towards making Destiny a better game in the future.

D The Campaign: C - Story telling improved. - Need to go to the reef after every mission was a gigantic pain in the arse. - As a solo player: Difficulty was inconsistent. The first mission was the hardest, the rest were kind if trivial. The final mission was a complete let down. Prison of Elders: E So much to offer, so little delivered. And talk about shit rewards. ToO: F Thorn. Final round. Lighthouse. No bungie, a hardcore PvP format is not a way to get PvE players interested in PvP.

Trials is good....POE is lame.

Edited by Shadow_Legion: 7/26/2015 10:17:35 PMCampaign: B overall good Good contained story that makes sense. But no cutscenes. Gear: C mixed bag New good legendary weapons, but mixed bag losing perks like field scout, and full auto on pulse rifles. Some of the best scout rifles the game has ever had are from HoW. The PoE weapons all have "dead" fallen only perks making them the worst in the game. PoE armor is generally considered some of the ugliest armor ever put into the game i.e. Titan PoE helm. ToO armor and weapons on the other hand are considered some of the best. Endgame: C mixed bag, should/could be better PoE: the static challenge arenas of levels 32, 34, 35 make PoE boring in the long run. The idea behind PoE was the modifiers could and would change. But the rounds except for skolas' modifiers are always exactly the same. A system that was made so it would not become repetitive has become repetitive because it does not change. The modifiers are not random. It is not procedurally generated. ToO: great idea but magnified every issue pvp had and became the game of thorns. Matching for connection was good but the issue of weapon balance was made all the more poignant. As a endgame activity it was really unforgiving to casual players. The rewards and reward structure though for ToO is one of the best in the game if you can manage the 7 wins. HoW overall grade C moments of great design obviously not taken far enough. But disappointing rewards from PoE and the newly missing perks hold it back.

Peter Dinklage said NO

I wish they would rotate the 35 boss like the others as well
-
I love trials. Prison of Elders was fun for a while but the variety I expected on the higher difficulties disappointed me. While I'm happy enough with the number of bosses I really don't like that the 4/5 rounds before the bosses never change.
-
Wait there's actually such a grade as an E?
-
I would say C+ to B- ToO and PoE are both good but not great.
-
I love snipers
-
In the Netherlands we rate things from 1-10 1 is the lowest and 10 the highest! In Germany they rate it from 1-6, 1 the best and 6 the worst! In France they rate it from 0-20 0 the worst and 20 the highest

Poe is awful, trials is good. Giving it a c- the only good part of the story missions was the dialogue between varkis and Petra and the changes with weapon ascension and etheric light were free so that doesn't count. Also the shaders were awful.
-
C+ A step in the right direction.
-
Never really like trials. It wasn't appealing to go into. PoE though was execellent. I give it a B- in that regard. It could have been an A if trials wasn't about elimination game mode type.
-
The Current Game meta ruined Trials PoE would be good if those guns had that second perk and use the fallen special perk as the Disruptor perk
-
D: PoE is boring and repetitive, even more so than the other raids. Trials would be good if it had more of a skill based matchmaking and without dedicated servers the games are laggy, whether it be because of the game itself or sad players. All and all, it was better than TDB. Is it still good?
not really
Edited by Nate: 7/26/2015 9:12:20 PMD Here's why. POE is pointless after the first few weeks (after ciphers are complete). Etheric light is the only thing needed to 365 armour/weapons. Brb you can get 9 etheric light per week from trials, then iron banner drops... Brb another 6 etheric light. Brb etheric light from the nightfall, etheric light from 34 PoE. Oh look defeating Skolas is now pointless. Because everything is now 365. When the dark below dropped, grinding crota was real, hitting level 32 took months in some cases, waiting on that weekly RESET, to complete the raid, trying to acquire armour. The raid was viable for a long time. In steps house of wolves. BRB LIGHT LEVEL CAP REACHED ON ALL CHARACTERS IN 4 DAYS. Etheric light everywhere, no need to defeat skolas any more. THE TOP TEIR BOSS IS NOW NULL AND VOID! All light levels reached. Why even play? Please don't talk about the adept versions of poe weapons as a save, because let's face it, the weapons acquired from PoE are complete garbage. The only thing saving HoW from an F is ToO. Game over. Ps. Your grading system sucks.

4, just 4. I'm not going to give a scale to reference, just 4.
-
In England the grades go A*,A,B,C,D,E and U replaces F (ungraded)
-
trials is amazing and Poe is rewarding so kinda fun
-
House of wolves got me into PvP, and trials is fun, and a great challenge
-
Who tf picked A?
-
I said C for the poll. But you mentioned the grading system of schools: In the schools I've been in (private schools); One had E (Excellent) as the highest grade, then A-D and F as failing, but in that school anything C or below would merit disciplinary action. In my current school, if you get below an 80, you are failing and if you fail three classes (throughout all four years) you are kicked out of the school.

Solid D- for Destiny in its entirity. Barely any content, laggy PVP, grind fest, repetitive and unimaginative content, lazy item design. The only reason I give it better than an F is because it is playable and to put that into perspective, Shenmue is playable but not fun or good.
-
For ideas. It needs a solid B. They introduced PoE which they crafted into a pretty good replacement for a raid. ToO was a good edition and you can't call ToO bad because all of Crucible is broken. As an idea without basis, it's great. All the little tid bits were nice too. New modifiers. Recrafting. Ascending. Etc. What could they have done better? Story, as is the problem with Destiny. ToO can get really frustrating. Even moreso than normal Crucible. A lot of potential they didn't touch
