This is exactly how my set up is. To take it a step further I use sniper with Titans, shotguns with hunters, and fusion with warlocks.

Nah more like shotguns for Titans and Snipers for Hunters.

Auto rifle / sniper Scout rifle / shot gun I ran it originally how you stated but quickly changed it. It was frustrating running two ranged guns and having an enemy get in my face or running two short ranged weapons and not being able to hit anything at a distance.
