Year 1 gear should transition into year 2. Year 1 gear should not transition into year 3. Our variety is extremely slim in terms of our armories. Every DLC has transitioned out its previous season's weapons and armor, leaving us with very little to choose from in the grand scheme. The only addendum to this is if the new expansion adds so much more to the game, that we can filter out the year 1 gear and its horribly unbalanced stats. Variety is good. But if they can provide variety without having 4 goto weapons, I'm all in for the new.
