1. I see no proof of light level 50 but seems reasonable.
2. I wish that this community would accept change and be happy to get new stuff NEW STUFF WHO DOSE NOT LIKE NEW STUFF!!

They are claiming this is practically a brand new game. With the amount of gear and content they are claiming the light level will be at LEAST an increase of 10 if not more.

Agreed. I was only using 50 as a benchmark since we have already had a plethora of rumors about it being 50.
