Best way to record my gameplay

So I am think about starting my own YouTube channel, and I am trying to find the best way to record my game play. I have and xbox 360 and I will be mound to xbox one in a short time. To all the youtubers out there, what is the best (and maybe cheapest, still working on that) way to do those recording with the commentary? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Guardians.

  • If you have a decent pc tower with a spare pci slot, go Avermedia hd gamer lite, good quality easy to use reasonable price, only draw back is no 60fps. Its a good starting point, its what I use.

  • Check out Avermedia. They have a device that plugs into the Xbox and you use a micro sd card. Then you pull the sd card and load it to your pc and edit and upload.

    • Cellphone on a box against a heavy object. That's the cheapest. Best is to go search for actual recorders with the specs you want and need. There are many out there. Search for the right cable plugins, resolution, space and price for you. I'd suggest getting an external hard drive with it as well, just to save your content as a backup. Just hope your computer is good enough to handle the recording, that might be a problem as well. Commentary wise, get a professional one with a pop filter. It'll save you a lot of time editing the sound, trying to clean it. • I use an elgato capture card to record my gameplay and for the voice I just use my apple earpods and record my voice while my clip is playing
