So they chop up the original game so they can sell them as DLC and now they are chopping up the DLC so they can encourage blind impatient fanboys into Pre-Ordering the damn thing.
Its like some kind of cosmic sized joke. I am waiting for Deej and Bungie to come out and say "GOTCHA! Here is the real game guys with the real storyline intact! Enjoy!"
I was dumb enough to pre-order your game and its season pass and you served up a steaming pile. But now you are gonna ask me to pre-order your $40 "expansion"?
Yeah sorry I have a soul and I have a brain. I'll pass.
Normally I would make a huge thread talking about how shady and pathetic this move is and how big of a joke this game has become but I think in this case the majority of the community can see whats going on. They just keep milking and milking, taking and taking.
I just don't know what else to say than are you serious Bungie?
You guys remember any of this?
- "Rich cinematic storytelling"
- "Periodic PvE and PvP oriented events"
- "Explore the solar system"
- "See that over there?...."
- "Make your guardian unique"
Yeah...never Pre-Ordering again Bungie.
EDIT: Wow some of you people would buy sand from Bungie if you were standing on the beach.

Hey I'm just here to voice an opinion that often isn't voiced. Do you have fun playing destiny ? If so get the dlc. It's not about the corporation but about if you have fun playing the game.

Breh, this post, bump that shit

Edited by TheOxymoron431: 7/28/2015 5:21:53 PMPeople who think bungie "chopped up" the game are like crazy conspiracy theorists. They're just paranoid
You guys remember any of this? - "Rich cinematic storytelling" - "Periodic PvE and PvP oriented events" - "Explore the solar system" - "See that over there?...." - "Make your guardian unique"
We got rich cinematic storytelling, just not much of it. We got periodic events in both PVE and PVP. Some more periodic than others. We are slowly exploring the solar system. After ten years, we may get to Uranus. "See that over there" was misquoted. The video said they'd like for us to be able to go there eventually. Our guardians could definitely use some more customization. But until then, we have weapon options I guess. --------- Destiny isn't what we hoped for, but we had some pretty high expectations and the past few years have been a hype fest like no other. Leading to gamers being disappointed by almost every game to be released. I've heard again and again that "next gen" isn't even here yet. But I have to disagree in part. Games are looking a heck of a lot better, but it's all in the texture resolution, particle effects and where possible, the view distance. Things that some people don't really notice when they can't get over their obsession with 60fps. I said it in December and I'll say it now. Destiny is what it is until Destiny 2. TTK isn't the great breakthrough that will save the franchise for the doubters. It's just another expansion, albeit a substantial one with a lot of under the hood changes.

Oh my god blame activision it's not bungie, don't write anything you know nothing about
-
Again, this is the publisher. Activision does pricing and packaging.
-
You aren't seeing the flip side of that. The pre order bonus stuff is all TIMED exclusives. Every other game does pre order stuff that can never be obtained by someone who didn't pre order. So quit your bitching.

Old news
-
Plot twist: the final boss in the new raid is really Ashton Kutcher. The only way to kill him by shooting him with 6 ghorns, firing simultaneously, twice. If you get the timing wrong, Ashton Kutcher triggers his super, and the whole fireteam gets Punk'd and dies. His super also negates Titan bubbles and self revives.

Almost nobody here knows anything about game design let alone the complexity that is 'Destiny'. You sound stupid

It's weird how some people jump the bullet to protect this game . I think destiny is okay I have fun playing it sometimes until it gets boring. I will never pre-order like a jack ass again I learned my lesson . So it's hard for me to understand the fanboys and their hope that they're hanging on to. Its almost sad seriously. I think the best thing to do to get the best results is not to pre-order and wait it out and watch bungie vision panic in stupidity and maybe then everyone might get something better. Look at how desperate bungie has gotten with the suro weapon pack ? What's next the new ship pack comes with a awesome ship that does nothing !!! Limited edition mofos !!!! Just to get people to pre-order ... It's laughable really. Remember what happen to the great vangar weapons that will help you excel in missions and you will be a legend faster !!!! Well I do and it was a waste. TTK will be the last chance for bungie to redeem themselves if they don't pull this off and if they're still using their shady marketing tactics . They will end up shooting themselves on the foot and hopefully those blind fanboys will realize that they been taking it in the ass raw. But who knows they might like that , maybe they been raise to bend over to companies who knows . The point is that the fanboy stupidity is just hurting my pocket because if I want a cool thing I have to pay extra for some crap that does nothing because they're willing to pay 50 dollars more. They're just putting lip stick on a pig really so hopefully one day some of you guys realize that you're getting screw over really hard. Again maybe you like that feeling so if that's the thing then whatever. I'm just going to wait and see what the out come is, if it sucks that's a shame and move on to another game simple as that .

Anyone remember what pre-ordering used to be and mean? Game publishers have done nothing but pervert the whole pre-ordering practice.
-
This guy will throw money at screen the second he's locked out from his friends activities.
-
We will see how ttk first.
-
OP and anyone who agrees with OP are wearing tinfoil hats. I want you to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the majority of the content from the first two expansions was present on the release disc.
-
Look, I'll spend the small amount of money for the dlc just to play the game I've been playing for last year... It's not a burden so why complain? If you don't want to pay then their are plenty of other games for ya.
-
Who are you to judge?
-
I'm probably gonna buy the dlc up until Destiny 2. But, I will wait to see if a price drop happens. During Destiny 2 I'm gonna wait after release and if it's not worth I'm not buying
-
Your post has no explanation. And the poll has spoken
-
Why do people still desperately defend the game? It's like they're brainwashed or something.
-
TTK isn't a expansion its DLC.
-
Stop playing and stop posting. Anyone who isn't interested in Destiny or TTK isn't on these forums.
-
Wow some of you people would buy sand from Bungie if you were standing on the beach.
Nailed it.
-
It's not Bungie's fault, activision forced the Devs to make as much money as possible, which included chopping up the story to make more DLC.
-
See you when you buy TTK
